Silo star Rebecca Ferguson has locked in the Season 3 release window, signaling the dystopian hit is nearly ready after months in post. Filmed back-to-back with the fourth and final season, the new chapter wrapped in May 2025.

Good news if you have been staring at those silo walls waiting for answers: Rebecca Ferguson says Season 3 of Silo is dropping this summer.

Summer 2026 it is

During a recent interview promoting a different project with Cillian Murphy, Ferguson was asked point-blank when Silo is back. Her reply:

"This summer."

Pressed for a date, she kept it vague and playful, saying she could not pin it down beyond that but,

"I don't know. But it's in the summer, it's coming out."

Read that as a window between June and August 2026.

She also could not resist hyping what is coming next:

"It oddly gets better and better."

How we got here

A few months back, Steve Zahn mentioned that Season 3 was already in post-production, with the team deep into Season 4 at the time. He called the fourth season "the biggest" of the run and flagged the heavy visual effects workload as one reason the process was taking its time.

There is a production wrinkle worth noting: Seasons 3 and 4 were filmed back-to-back, with Season 3 wrapping in May 2025 and the fourth and final season finishing filming recently. Ambitious plan, clean exit.

Who is in it, and where to watch

Ferguson leads the series as Juliette Nichols and also serves as an executive producer. If you need a refresher course before summer, Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Apple TV+.
