Rihanna has become a regular attendee at the annual Met Gala in recent years, showing up at the charity event nine times in total.
Each time, the singer chose truly remarkable outfits that upstaged every other look at the ball. In anticipation of this year's Met Gala, we decided to rank the star's red carpet outfits from worst to best — but, of course, even Rihanna's least impressive attire looked gorgeous on her!
9. 2007
While Georges Chakra's angelic white gown, paired with black gloves and a single rose, may not be as provocative as Rihanna's later looks, it was a sign of rebellion and brilliance for the future Grammy winner.

Rihanna's appearance at the 2011 Met Ball marked the trend for nude elements in clothes, and the star looked simply stunning in that black lace gown by Stella McCartney!

The theme of Met Gala 2012 was Schiaparelli and Prada, and Rihanna absolutely nailed it, stepping out in a tight black Tom Ford gown with that memorable leather texture.
