The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 kicks off with Rachel Zoe dropping two bombshells: her relationship with ex-husband Rodger Berman remains strained, and there’s a surprising Mauricio Umansky twist — including that her sons already knew about Berman’s girlfriend.

RHOBH came back swinging. New cast member Rachel Zoe used the Season 15 premiere to talk frankly about her split, her kids, and, yes, an Aspen story that somehow involves Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky. It was a lot. In a good, messy-TV way.

Rachel Zoe on the split, the kids, and why things got 'strained'

Rachel Zoe, 54, is one of the fresh faces this season, but she is not easing in. She opened up about her breakup with Rodger Berman, 57, and how fast he moved on — and how that landed with their boys, Skyler and Kaius.

  • She said Berman has been with the same girlfriend for about a year, and their sons have known about it for roughly 10 months. When someone pointed out that means he started dating right after the separation, she basically said: do the math.
  • The kids’ relationship with their dad is 'tricky' right now. According to Zoe, they’re clocking how he splits time between them and his girlfriend — and they have questions about his choices and behavior.
  • Zoe is trying to reframe things and see Berman 'as a friend,' but admits they’re 'not there yet.' After 26 years of marriage, she says they ultimately outgrew each other and became very different people.
  • Working together didn’t help. She pins a lot of the 'strained' dynamic on blurring professional and personal lines. As she put it, lines got crossed, and 'that person' didn’t feel right around her or the kids. She didn’t spell out who she meant, but the takeaway was clear: the work-marriage mashup got unhealthy at home.

The Aspen curveball: Mauricio enters the chat

In a conversation with Kyle Richards, Zoe casually dropped that she saw Mauricio Umansky in Aspen — and that more than one person tried to set her up with him. As in, three people at one event in a single night. She shut it down immediately because, well, he’s Kyle’s ex-husband. The room collectively did a double take.

'Is there anybody left in Beverly Hills that Mo hasn’t tried to get with? He hasn’t tried to get with me. Let’s just make that clear.'

That was fellow cast member Bozoma Saint John in her confessional, delivering the episode’s most lethal one-liner.
