Here's how Bridgerton Season 3 will most likely begin.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story landed on Netflix on May 4, and the massive Bridgerton fan base has already been poring over it to see if the spin-off has anything that might hint at the future events of the parent show.

Though the two series are intentionally kept separate to make watching the prequel optional and none of the Bridgerton siblings appear in the spin-off, fans have managed to find some subtle connections between them.

Timeline

The prequel is set in two timelines. One tells the story of young Charlotte and the first months after her wedding to King George, which took place in 1761. The second is the events that happen in the present day of the Bridgerverse after Season 2, when two of the Bridgerton siblings have already tied the knot and the rest have yet to find their love.

Of course, it is the present timeline that can provide at least some clues about the events of Bridgerton Season 3.

Kanthony

Many Bridgerton fans want to know if the beloved couple from Season 2, Anthony and Kate Bridgerton aka Kanthony, will be featured in future seasons of the main show. In Queen Charlotte, Violet Bridgerton tells Lady Danbury that her son and his new wife are away on their honeymoon. So even if viewers get a glimpse of the Kanthony marriage, it will most likely be after they have returned home.

New Bridgerton

The very first episode of the spin-off shows Violet with two grandchildren. We already know one of them as Augie Basset, the first son of Simon and Daphne from Season 1. But the second kid is new. Since the baby looks a lot like Augie, many fans think it is none other than the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Hastings. Daphne was most likely pregnant in Season 2.

Since none of the actors who played the Bassets will be returning for Season 3, this prequel scene is of little significance to Bridgerton. Still, it is heartwarming to know that the beloved couple from Season 1 is living out their happily ever after.

Eloise and Penelope

The hint that directly concerns the upcoming Season 3 of Bridgerton is Violet's mention of the fight between her daughter Eloise and Penelope Featherington. Apparently, at the time of the prequel, the friends are at odds after the whole Lady Whistledown situation in Season 2. At the same time, Whistledown is aggressively publishing her column, constantly picking on the Queen and her family.

It is safe to assume that Season 3 will begin with just that: Penelope left with no friends and the infamous gossip column as her only comfort in life.
