Could these two be any cuter?

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story became a huge hit with the Bridgerverse fandom, thanks to Shonda Rhimes' impeccable writing, stunning sets and costumes, brilliant acting and character dynamics.

Focusing on the backstory of Queen Charlotte and King George, the spin-off is a truly addictive watch, and it seems to even surpass the original Bridgerton series in some aspects.

For many viewers, one of the prequel's biggest advantages over its parent show is the first Bridgerverse LGBTQ+ romance between the Queen and King's right-hand men, Brimsley and Reynolds, played by Sam Clemmett and Freddie Dennis. In true Shondaland fashion, the two characters have electric chemistry, intense interactions, and a compelling storyline that fans hope will find continuation in future seasons of Bridgerton.

This kind of mesmerizing romance could not be created unless the actors playing it were in sync with each other, and both Clemmett and Dennis confirmed that the on-screen chemistry came from their real-life friendship. In an interview for Shondaland, the actors said that they first met during a table read but quickly became friends and support anchors, helping each other get through the most difficult scenes.

'Sam became one of my best friends in the world really quickly,' Freddie Dennis said. 'We found such a sense of play in our time together on set. I truly loved working with him.'

The Reynolds actor added that, because of his upbringing, he found his own confession a bit cringe-worthy.

'I don't thik I've ever said to Sam that he's one of my best mates. It feels embarrassing, and I'm being very English and awkward now.'

Sam Clemmett didn't miss a beat in returning the sentiment.

'[The feelings] are absolutely reciprocated!' the actor said. 'If I have a lot of stuff going on in my personal life, I share that with Fred. He's become a support system outside of work as well. Yeah, he means a lot to me. Oh, cringe!'

The Brimsley actor also noted that, even though he and Dennis have different acting backgrounds, they were able to help one another in their work and became 'each other's rocks' on the set. For fans, the stars' words were extremely heartwarming — could these two be any more British and cute?

The massive Bridgerverse fandom can attest that the actors' beautiful friendship comes through in every scene they share and every interaction they have on screen.
