Prompt Trailer Drops: Full Moon Unveils Erotic AI Thriller Arriving in December

Charles Band took the scenic route on this one. About six months after announcing a 'sexy horror movie' called 'Prompt' and aiming for an August drop, the Full Moon founder is finally rolling it out in December — and the first trailer is absolutely leaning into the 'sexy' part.

'Prompt' is premiering in December on Amazon VOD and the FullMoonFeatures.com streaming service. Full Moon also unveiled the trailer, which makes it clear this is an erotic AI thriller. Heads up: it is loaded with sexual content and sits right on the edge of NSFW. Maybe don’t hit play at your desk.

What the movie actually is

Directed by Band, the story follows a young woman who dives deep into the world of AI. Her fantasies — the wild ones and the dark ones — start bleeding into reality in very physical ways. The further she gets into her online experiments, the closer she gets to a nasty revelation.

Band’s take on using AI

"I'm fascinated by the AI world and how using that as a tool can really enhance what we do. ... I don't see Full Moon really making a movie only in AI, I don't think the human beings are going to be replaced, but using it as an effect or as a storytelling tool is very exciting."

So no, he isn’t trying to swap actors for algorithms. The pitch here is old-school exploitation energy with AI as the stylistic and story spice.

Who’s in it, and what Band promised

The lead is Keep Chambers, who Band previously put front and center in 'Piranha Women' a few years back. When he first teased 'Prompt,' he framed it exactly how you’d expect from Full Moon: a full-tilt sexy horror movie that’s meant to be, in his words, both very steamy and genuinely scary.
