A bombshell new book pulls back the curtain on Prince Andrew's so-called sex life, claiming he was fixated on it to a 'childish' degree.

Just when you think the Prince Andrew saga has hit its ceiling, along comes a new book swinging a wrecking ball. It digs into his alleged sex life, his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, and, weirdly, a reported love of whoopee cushions. Subtle? Not really.

The book everyone is arguing about

Historian and author Andrew Lownie has a new biography out called "The Rise and Fall of the House of York." He reportedly spent years researching Andrew for it, and excerpts published by Radar Online lay out a long list of claims about the Duke of York. The Royal Family, according to the book, tried to stop publication. That did not happen.

What the book alleges

  • At school, Andrew was nicknamed "Randy Andy" for his reputation as a girl magnet and a big appetite for sex. The book says that fixation only intensified as he got older.
  • People close to him allegedly described him as an uncontrollable sex addict whose life basically revolved around it. The author frames this as a consistent story he heard from multiple sources.
  • Even Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was supposedly taken aback by Andrew's bedroom behavior. The book claims Epstein told associates Andrew was more obsessed than he was and liked acts he considered extreme.
  • On the lighter-but-honestly-stranger side, Lownie says Andrew loved childish pranks, including planting whoopee cushions at dinner parties. The author contrasts that with reports of him making women cry with bullying, calling the combo telling.

The Palace reportedly tried to block the book before it hit shelves (of course). It still hit shelves.

"We are both serial sex addicts. He is the only person I have met who is more obsessed with p--- than me. From the reports I have got back from the women we have shared, he is the most perverted animal in the bedroom. He likes to engage in stuff that is even kinky to me — and I am the king of kink."

— what the book claims Epstein said about Andrew

This is one of those stories where the headline grabs you, but the details are somehow even weirder. The whoopee cushion thing reads like a bad sketch, and the alleged comments attributed to Epstein are obviously explosive. For clarity: these are allegations from Lownie's reporting and Radar's excerpts, not verified facts. Still, if even a fraction of it holds water, it is yet another hit to Andrew's already rough public image — and the reported attempt to shut the book down only adds to the drama.
