Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road hits early access now, with the full launch tomorrow. Whether you’re already on the pitch or waiting for global kickoff, here’s how to farm EXP fast and power-level your squad to dominate every match.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road just opened the gates to early access, with the full launch hitting tomorrow. If you want to win consistently, you need levels. Fast. The quickest way to bulk up your squad is a little counterintuitive and very effective: let stronger teams do the heavy lifting for your EXP.

The short version

Victory Road gives you bonus EXP in online Ranked Matches when your Team Level is lower than your opponent's. The bigger the gap, the bigger the payout. It is designed that way. Example: if your Team Level is 6 and you match into a Team Level 12, the game grants a 100 percent Level Difference Bonus. That is a straight 2x EXP boost for that match.

How to snowball EXP, match after match

  • From your Team Dock, open Spirits and summon a bunch of level 1 players you do not already own to your Player Bank.
  • Drop all those level 1s straight into your active squad to drag down your overall Team Level. Do not crowd the lineup with high-level players or you will shrink your bonus.
  • If there is a specific high-level player you want to turbocharge, keep that one in the team with your level 1s so they also cash the same EXP bonus.
  • Head to Competition Mode, pick Compete Online, and queue into Ranked Match.
  • When you get paired with a higher-Team-Level opponent, the game will show the Level Difference Bonus percentage on screen. Bigger number, bigger reward.
  • Play the match. Winning is nice, but not required. One wildly lopsided pairing can rocket a level 1 straight into the 20s off a single game, depending on the gap.
  • Repeat the loop with fresh level 1s to keep the EXP flowing. Pro tip: slotting a great goalkeeper alongside the lowbies can keep you in games without ruining your bonus.

"You do not have to win to get the EXP boost. Losing still pays, even if you do not score."

Why this works

The Level Difference Bonus is the whole trick. You will run into stacked teams in Ranked. That is actually good news here. The higher their Team Level compared to yours, the more EXP you collect at the end of the match. You can farm this safely because the bonus pays out whether you win or lose. Just keep your Team Level low with level 1 additions, queue up, and watch the bars fill.
