What you actually get in this patch

The headliner is the new Druid class. Think of it as a spell-slinging bruiser: you can mix magic with up-close brawling instead of being locked into one lane. If that is your vibe, you will probably live there for a while.

Grinding Gear is also adding new Ascendancies, including Shaman and Oracle. That opens up more late-game build paths without having to rewire your entire brain, which I appreciate.

There is a fresh league too: Echoes of the Vaal. The hook is DIY dungeons. You put them together, you run them, and you farm the rewards. It is a big swing and should be catnip for players who like to tinker as much as they like to clear.

On the housekeeping side, expect balance tweaks (because of course) and a tougher endgame thanks to beefed-up monster setups. Performance has gotten some attention as well, with optimizations and upgrades under the hood. There are a bunch of other smaller changes in the mix, but those are the broad strokes that will actually change how you play.

Bottom line

New class, new Ascendancies, a build-your-own-dungeon league, and a meaner endgame all landing at the same time on all platforms on December 12 at 11:00 AM PST. See you in Wraeclast.
