Ready to travel back to Fraser's Ridge?
Can you believe the penultimate season of Outlander is finally here? Well, the first part of it, anyway. More than a year after the Season 6 finale aired, fans of the historical fantasy drama are ready to finally reunite with Claire and Jamie Fraser on Friday, June 16. This exciting journey to Fraser's Ridge will last eight weeks, ending with a mid-season break in early August.
Season 7 will have 16 episodes, split into two parts. The first will air this summer, and the release date for the second has yet to be announced.
Most likely, Episodes 9–16 of Season 7 will premiere sometime in 2024. As for Episodes 1–8, they will be available exclusively on Starz, landing on the network every Friday on a regular schedule, as follows:

Fans can expect the upcoming season to feature the good old Outlander drama set against the backdrop of the American Revolution. The new episodes will pick up where we last left the Frasers. The Malva murder storyline is still unresolved and Claire is in a very dangerous position, about to be hanged for a crime she didn't commit. How will Jamie manage to save his wife, and who is Malva's real killer? New episodes will reveal.
But the troubles of the time-traveling family won't stop there. The American Revolution is set to bring change to Fraser's Ridge, and the beloved characters will have to adapt to the new circumstances. More than that, the war will force the Frasers to leave their home and move to the heart of the Revolution, North Carolina, where they will face new challenges, revelations, and surprises.
'Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger are faced with impossible decisions that have the potential to tear their family apart,' the official synopsis to the new season reads, and fans can only hope that the new chapter in the Outlander story will be as compelling and addictive as the previous ones.
