We have officially hit halftime on Outlander: Blood of My Blood. Good news: five more episodes to go. Bad news: only five more episodes to go. If you are caught up through episode 5 and itching for the next installment, here is exactly when it drops in the UK, how the rest of the season plays out, and why there is a random week off in the schedule. Because of course there is.

Where things stand
The prequel has been splitting time between two love stories: Jamie Fraser's parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), and Claire's parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine). Episode 5 delivered the big swing for Ellen and Brian — they finally said the words and consummated their very not-allowed relationship. Messy, charged, classic Outlander energy.
When does episode 6 land?
In the UK, Outlander: Blood of My Blood streams on MGM+. The show premiered with a two-episode drop on Saturday 9th August, and new episodes arrive weekly on Saturdays. That puts episode 6 on Saturday 6th September in the UK.
In the US, episodes hit Starz on Fridays.

About that skip week
Just like the flagship series, the prequel is taking a breather. There is a designated skip week starting Monday 29th September. Translation: no new episode that week, which means the finale does not land on Saturday 4th October. Instead, the season wraps the following Saturday, 11th October. It is a little inside baseball, but if you are planning a binge night, that gap matters.
