Episode 27 drops today, November 8, 2025 at 7:55 PM KST on KBS2. Based on the setup, Ko Seong-hui is still working to pressure Eun Ho into agreeing to a liver transplant for Seong-hui's son, Wu Jin. Yes, that is exactly as fraught as it sounds.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk's business continues to wobble, but his father finally shows up with some support and puts their differences on pause. And Seong Jae, who has been dithering around his feelings forever, actually asks Subin out. She is initially annoyed by something he says, but the date itself looks surprisingly sweet in the preview.
What Episode 28 is picking up
The big question is whether Eun Ho sees through Seong-hui's plan before it goes too far, and how that fallout hits everyone else. On the lighter side, we will see if Seong Jae and Subin's tentative date energy turns into an actual thing. And Ji-hyuk, who cannot catch a break, is still trying to keep his business above water while leaning on his dad for once.
The show, the people, the vibe
Season 1 follows three longtime friends — Lee Ji Hyeok (often shortened to Ji-hyuk), Ji Eun O (you will also see her called Eun Ho in synopses), and Park Seong Jae — as they stumble through love, heartbreak, and the unpleasant parts of growing up. Kim Hyoung-seok directs, So Hyun-kyung writes, and the cast is a legit strength: Jung Il-woo, Jung In-sun, and Yoon Hyun-min lead a drama that has been getting solid notes for its warm, lived-in storytelling and performances that feel comfortably worn in.
