One Punch Man Season 3 Release Calendar: When Every New Episode Drops

Never miss a punch—here are the exact days and drop times to catch Saitama and co the instant new episodes land.
After more than five years of waiting, One Punch Man is finally back with season 3. The Monster Association is stepping into the spotlight, Garou is trending in a very dark direction, and yes, the release schedule has a few quirks. Here’s the what, when, and where so you don’t miss an episode or accidentally spoil yourself by poking around the manga.
Quick refresher: season 2 wrapped with Garou scrapping with a parade of heroes while Saitama casually flattened the Elder Centipede. The finale dangled a big tease — Garou drifting toward the monster side and a showdown brewing with the Hero Association. Season 3 picks up right as that powder keg is about to blow.
Release schedule
Episode 1 premiered on its planned date of October 2. After that, the weekly drops roll out on the dates below in Japan and internationally. Heads up: you’ll notice the calendar also labels episode 1 with a weekly slot on October 5 — chalk it up to how broadcasters/streamers list premiere weeks versus actual air dates. The key dates are:

What time do new episodes drop?
Crunchyroll says new episodes hit at: 11:45pm JST, 7:45am PT, 10:45am ET, 3:45pm BST. As with previous seasons, Japan gets the TV broadcast first (via TV Tokyo), then the simulcast goes live for international viewers.
Where to watch
Outside Japan, season 3 streams on Crunchyroll, which has the worldwide distribution. In Japan, episodes air on TV Tokyo before showing up on streaming platforms.
About Hulu: it was initially pegged for an October 12 streaming start, per reporting from Anime News Network. Then ANN added an update from Hulu clarifying the date isn’t locked yet — and that a firm date will arrive:
"at a later date"
If you’re wondering about Netflix, seasons of One Punch Man have landed there eventually, but don’t expect season 3 to show up before 2026.
How many episodes?
Season 3 is expected to run 12 episodes. Both seasons 1 and 2 topped out at 12, and when JC Staff took over from Madhouse after season 1, they kept that count. Unless there’s an official change-up, plan on a straightforward 12-episode run.
What season 3 is actually about
The show is adapting the Monster Association Arc — the big one. The Hero Association sends its S-Class heavyweights after a full-blown monster army, which means some of the most over-the-top battles the series has done. Saitama, as always, is stuck between apocalyptic chaos and the existential nightmare of being too strong for his own good. Meanwhile, Garou keeps evolving into the scariest guy in the room — not the strongest (that title is taken), but the one who wants to redefine what strength even means.
One scheduling oddity to know
There’s a minor calendar hiccup: episode 1 premiered on October 2, but some schedules also slot it on October 5 alongside the weekly rollout. That’s a labeling thing more than a delay — time zones and TV-first scheduling can make the simulcast dates look off by a couple of days. If you follow the drop times above, you’ll be current as soon as episodes go live.
