Netflix drops a bold new One Piece Season 2 poster, teasing the Straw Hat Pirates’ plunge into the Grand Line—new worlds, colossal creatures, and long-awaited fan favorites are on the horizon.

Netflix dropped a fresh look at One Piece Season 2, and yep, the Straw Hats are officially sailing into the weirder, wilder part of the map. New worlds, massive creatures, long-teased characters — the Grand Line curtain is coming up, and the show is clearly leaning into it.

The poster: welcome to Little Garden

The new key art focuses on the live-action take on Little Garden. Front and center: Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, and the rest of the crew standing on a wooden bridge, staring down a prehistoric island that looks like it time-traveled in from a dinosaur exhibit. Think lush jungle, ancient ruins, and, yes, dinosaurs.

The real punch is in the background — two enormous, horned, long-bearded warriors in Viking-style helmets looming over the landscape. It is big, it is bold, and it is very One Piece.

Netflix rolled this out on October 21, 2025 via the One Piece Netflix account with the caption: 'To its inhabitants, the island truly is a Little Garden. - Louis Arnot, Explorer.' That little in-universe flourish is a nice nod if you know your lore. The poster also tags the release window: 'Only on Netflix, Coming 2026.'

Those two giants you noticed

Meet Dorry and Brogy, captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates in the source material, who have been locked in a duel on Little Garden for, well, a very long time. In the live-action series, they are played by Werner Coetser and Brendan Murray. If you were hoping the show would actually go for the giants instead of shrinking the scale — they did.

Season 2 scope: into the Grand Line

Netflix confirmed the new season — titled 'One Piece: Into the Grand Line' — pulls from a string of Eiichiro Oda arcs as the Straw Hats leave the East Blue behind. Here is what is on deck:

  • Loguetown
  • Whiskey Peak
  • Reverse Mountain
  • Little Garden
  • Drum Island

Making giants feel real (when you are staring at the sky)

Jacob Gibson (Usopp) talked to TheWrap about the practical reality of acting opposite, essentially, thin air — and how the team grounds it anyway:

'[It was] definitely a challenging technical feat to still create dynamic scenes while acting to the sky. But the production always finds unbelievably skilled ways to tackle and ground the world for us as performers.'

Release timing and what is next

Season 2 lands in 2026. Netflix also says a third season is already in development, so they are not treating the Grand Line as a quick layover.
