One Major MCU Star You Won’t See in Avengers Doomsday

Daredevil is out of Doomsday. At New York Comic Con, Charlie Cox shut down the speculation, confirming he won’t appear in Avengers: Doomsday.

If you were hoping Matt Murdock would crash Avengers: Doomsday, go ahead and lower those expectations. Charlie Cox just shut that door again, and this time he sounds pretty definitive about it.

What Charlie Cox actually said

While chatting with Brandon Davis at New York Comic Con, the Daredevil: Born Again star doubled down on the rumors that he is not in Doomsday. He put it plainly:

"No, I’m just concentrating on DD right now."

He already swatted this down earlier in the year, and some fans figured he was being cute about it. Based on this latest answer, he is not. The focus is Daredevil, not the Avengers movie.

The takeaway
