Octobloom Unlocked: The Fastest Way to Get It in Grow a Garden
Roblox Grow a Garden just unveiled the Octobloom, a multi-harvest Transcendent crop averaging 288,888 Sheckles per sale. With only a 0.08% chance to appear in the Seed Shop—rarer than the Zebrazinkle—it’s the new must-have, and there are ways to boost your odds.
Quick detour from the usual screen stuff: Roblox Grow a Garden just added a crop so rare it might as well be a myth. If you have been wondering why everyone is whispering about Octobloom, here is the deal and how to actually get one without losing your mind.
What makes Octobloom such a big deal
The latest Trader Event dropped Octobloom, a multi-harvest Transcendent crop with an average sell value of 288,888 Sheckles. It is a permanent addition to the Seed Shop, but good luck seeing it there: it has a 0.08% chance of being in stock. Yes, that is rarer than the Zebrazinkle. So if you want it, you are going to have to get creative.
Four ways to snag an Octobloom
- Send in a Red Fox to steal it
Red Foxes can swipe seeds that are permanently in the Seed Shop, and Octobloom qualifies. The catch: another player has to have Octobloom placed in their garden. Your odds are better in a private server with someone who has one, but you can try public servers too if there is at least one other player rocking the crop. You get the Red Fox from Mythical Eggs, so make sure you have one before you go full heist mode. - Let your Dogs do the digging
Dogs (the basic Dog and the Shiba Inu) can dig up a random seed from the pool of seeds that are permanently available in the Shop. Since Octobloom is in that pool, it is technically on the table. Use every Dog you own at once to bump your overall odds. The beauty of this method: you basically do nothing and wait. The odds are tiny, but Dogs are Common, so if you have a bunch, put them to work instead of selling them and hope for the jackpot. - Watch ads to refresh the Seed Shop (and lean on Lucky Harvest)
The game lets you watch an ad to restock the Seed Shop. Octobloom is almost always out of stock, but every restock is another roll of the dice. Not glamorous, but it can work. On top of that, harvesting any crop has a slim chance to trigger a Lucky Harvest, which drops that plant’s seed into your inventory. Equip a Snail to nudge that seed-drop chance up, just know that the rarer the plant, the worse the odds. - Log in before the next update and ride the Admin Abuse wave
The Trading World Update lands on November 29. Around big updates, the dev typically does what the community calls Admin Abuse: shops get restocked across the board, including the Seed Shop. If you hop in leading up to the update and keep an eye on the cycles, you might catch Octobloom in stock. There is also the long-shot possibility someone gifts you an Octobloom with Robux, but do not count on generosity as a strategy.
The bottom line
Octobloom is expensive, ultra-rare, and technically always available, just almost never where you can buy it. If you want one without paying through the nose, lean on pets (Red Fox, Dogs, Snail), roll the dice on ad-based restocks, and keep an eye on the pre-update restock window.
