Netflix Sets Premiere Date for His & Hers Starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson

Netflix has locked a date for His & Hers, the psychological thriller miniseries led by Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal as Ana and Jack.
Netflix finally put a date on its next classy mind-melter. His & Hers, a six-episode psychological thriller led by Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, is locked for early 2026.
Release date and format
His & Hers starts streaming Thursday, January 8, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. It is a six-episode limited series.
What it is
The setup is very 'two unreliable narrators walk into a crime scene.' Thompson plays Anna, a former news anchor who has basically ghosted her life in Atlanta. A murder back in her hometown of Dahlonega yanks her out of isolation, and she barrels toward the story like the old pro she used to be. Bernthal is Detective Jack Harper, who takes one look at her sudden interest and thinks: nope, something is off. The show toggles perspectives and leans into the idea that someone is always bending the truth.
"Set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, Anna lives in haunting reclusivity, fading away from her friends and career as a news anchor. But when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega - the sleepy town where she grew up - Anna is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story: His & Hers, which means someone is always lying."
