Netflix Just Dropped the Ultimate Treat for Lindsay Lohan Movie Fans
Netflix just gave Lindsay Lohan fans a holiday upgrade, adding two more of her films this December and expanding its Lohan library following her star turn in the Netflix movie Our Little Secret.
Netflix just gave Lindsay Lohan fans a win. Two more of her movies landed on the service this month, and with those additions, you can basically build a whole Lohan weekend without leaving the app.
What just got added
As of December 5, Netflix is streaming both Mean Girls movies: the 2004 teen-comedy classic and the 2024 film version of the Broadway musical. Fun symmetry here: Tina Fey wrote both versions, and Lohan pops up for a quick cameo in the musical two decades after she played Cady Heron the first time around.
The Lohan shelf on Netflix right now
Lohan has been in business with Netflix for a bit thanks to a creative deal that included new projects and holiday titles. With these two Mean Girls drops, her library there now sits at five movies:
- Mean Girls (2004) — the original, written by Tina Fey
- Mean Girls (2024) — the musical film, also written by Tina Fey, with a Lohan cameo
- Falling for Christmas — Lohan's first Netflix movie
- Irish Wish (2024) — a fantasy rom-com
- Our Little Secret — another Netflix project tied to her creative deal
What she has been up to beyond Netflix
Outside the streamer, Lohan was most recently seen in the Disney sequel Freakier Friday, which reunited her with Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray. Yes, that reunion really happened.
She is also attached to lead the Hulu limited drama series Count My Lies opposite Kit Harington and Shailene Woodley. It is based on Sophie Stava's debut novel and comes from This Is Us executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. For Lohan, that would mark her first major scripted TV role since her 2018 recurring turn in the British black comedy Sick Note.
