These are the true classics of modern animation.

Regardless of your age, there's nothing to shame about enjoying cartoons. They're not only a great source of entertainment, but also a great way to bond with your kids and younger siblings. These five animated movies on Netflix are the best for that.

The Boss Baby (2017, 6.3 on IMDb)

The DreamWorks Animation comedy is set in a world where babies are created in a giant celestial factory and delivered to families by storks. But some babies aren't delivered – they serve as managers and special agents for the baby-making corporation. Seven-year-old Tim has a new baby brother, but the baby boy turns out to be a special agent on a mission to stop the puppies from taking over the world by stealing the adults' love from the babies. And now that Tim knows the truth, he's on board.

Turbo (2013, 6.4 on IMDb)

Have you ever dreamed of flying? Well, we're human and we can't (airplanes and other machines don't count!). This DreamWorks Animation movie follows the snail named Turbo (yeah-yeah, we know), who dreams of winning the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race and is bored to death by the slowness of his world. Turbo seems doomed to live his slow snail life, but an accident gives him superspeed and sets him on a journey to make his dream come true.

Minions (2015, 6.4 on IMDb)

The beloved characters of Illumination Entertainment's Despicable Me franchise are at the heart of the film series' success. This movie tells their origin story as they live through the ages in search of the perfect evil master. Unfortunately, the Minions have accidentally killed all the villains they have served and know they need a new one. Their wanderings lead the Minions to the United States, where they meet Scarlet Overkill, who dreams of overthrowing Queen Elizabeth II and usurping the British throne.

Trolls (2016, 6.4 on IMDb)

Another hit film from DreamWorks Animation, this musical comedy is set in the magical world of the trolls, perpetually happy creatures who live carefree and bright lives, and the bergens, their complete opposites who don't feel a grain of happiness in their lives. Seeing the trolls, the bergens believe that they might be able to attain happiness by eating the trolls they capture. To save their friends, the trolls Poppy and Branch set out on a journey full of danger.

Hotel Transylvania (2012, 7.0 on IMDb)

The monsters you dress up as for Halloween are real. Vampires, werewolves, mummies, and ghosts all live among us and enjoy the same luxuries we humans do, including vacations. In this film from Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, Count Dracula is the owner of a grand hotel where monsters from all over the world come to vacation. But on his daughter Mavis's 118th birthday, things go awry when a human visitor appears on the hotel porch.
