Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys hits the gas on the love triangle and then slams the brakes right at the finish line. Feelings are confessed, secrets pop, and just when someone finally asks the question out loud, a family emergency blows the whole thing up. Classic finale move.
So... does Jackie pick Alex or Cole?
Short answer: no. By the end of the finale, Jackie has not officially chosen either Alex or Cole.

Going into the last episode, Jackie and Alex are still hiding their relationship. Cole already found out about them, so the temperature in the house is basically set to awkward. It all comes to a head outside the Walters house, where Jackie and Cole argue and she admits she cannot stay away from him, even though she is technically with Alex.
"I keep trying to and nothing works, and I can't have that, Cole. I can't be with someone who makes me feel the way that you make me feel."
He tells her he loves her. She says she feels the same. Then she lays it out: the barn kiss was the only time her brain actually went quiet. It made her feel free... and that freaked her out because it felt like losing control. They lean in to kiss, Alex shows up, and he asks the only question that matters: "You love him?" Before Jackie can say a word, the Walters get hit with a sudden family emergency, and the moment detonates without an answer.
Where everyone lands by the finale
- Alex scores a rodeo sponsorship through his trainer's dad's program — oddly specific pipeline, but it moves his rodeo dream forward.
- Cole takes charge on the football team after Dylan gets sidelined and leads them to a playoff win.
- Jackie receives the Young Sparkler Award for what she has done at school, and Erin nudges her to run for student council president.
About that emergency
The cliffhanger is twofold. Jackie is still torn between Alex and Cole, and the family is thrown into crisis when George collapses on the ranch. The finale leaves both Jackie's choice and George's condition hanging, which is exactly the kind of unresolved double-punch that screams: see you in a (potential) Season 3.
