MrBeast Just Confirmed Beast Games Season 2 — And Dropped A New Photo

MrBeast is turning the hype dial back up. Season 2 of Beast Games on Prime Video just got a big tease, with MrBeast dropping a brand-new photo and hinting that filming has officially wrapped.
MrBeast just hit the big red button on hype mode. Season 2 of Beast Games has officially finished filming, there is a fresh photo to prove it, and now we all wait for Prime Video to tell us when it drops. If you remember how bonkers Season 1 got, you can probably guess why Amazon is in no rush to undersell this thing.
What MrBeast said
On August 27, 2025, Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast) posted a new photo from set and went full caps-lock in the caption:
"Beast Games Season 2 wrapped filming!!! We gathered the strongest and the smartest people on earth to compete for $5,000,000! I'M SO EXCITED SEASON 2 IS 10X BETTER THAN SEASON 1 :D."
So what is Season 2, exactly?
The new season leans hard into two buckets of competitors: the strongest and the smartest. That is not just marketing flair. Casting materials show they were actively recruiting from specific categories instead of grabbing contestants at random. The game itself is built to test three things: physical strength, intelligence, and social strategy. The prize on the line Donaldson is touting this time is $5,000,000.
Producers have not unveiled the lineup yet, and Prime Video has not announced a release date. But filming is done, which means we are officially in the edit-and-tease phase.
Quick rewind: how Season 1 blew up
Season 1 launched with 1,000 players and an advertised $5 million prize. In the finale, they doubled that to $10 million. The result: more than 50 million viewers worldwide in the first 25 days, and a No. 1 ranking on Prime Video in over 80 countries. Also, in classic MrBeast fashion, Donaldson says he gave away more than $25 million total across the debut season. Yes, that is more than the final prize pool. The show is basically a money cannon with obstacle courses.
Amazon is all-in (and advertisers noticed)
Amazon renewed Beast Games for two more seasons back in May 2025 after those record numbers. At its upfront presentation, the company literally pointed to the show as a major driver of advertiser demand. Inside baseball, sure, but it tells you how big a swing this is for Prime Video.

The bottom line
Season 2 is wrapped, it is pitched as 10x bigger by the guy who does not undersell, and the format is skewing toward elite competitors by design. Prime Video has not put a date on it yet, but the second they do (or drop a trailer), I will have it here.
