Xbox players, your turn is almost here: the port drops this month.

Xbox players have been waiting a year to walk back into that fog, and now we finally have a date — courtesy of Microsoft hitting the publish button a little too early.

So, what leaked

A now-deleted Xbox Store page briefly went live and revealed that Silent Hill 2 Remake is set to hit Xbox Series X|S on November 21, 2025. That is less than two weeks away. The listing was spotted by TrueAchievements before it vanished, and it lines up with the timing you would expect: this marks the end of a year where the remake lived only on PS5 for consoles (and on PC).

  • Release date: November 21, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S
  • Source: an Xbox Store listing that went up, then got pulled
  • Deluxe Edition: digital artbook, soundtrack, and a Pyramid Head pizza box cosmetic — also arriving November 21
  • Extras: there was also a bundle that pairs the remake with Silent Hill f, which Konami rolled out this year

About that rumored DLC

Fans have been crossing their fingers that the Xbox launch would come with a little something extra — specifically, a new version of the Born From a Wish scenario. If you remember, the original Silent Hill 2 hit OG Xbox several months after PS2, and Konami sweetened the wait back then by bundling in Born From a Wish. Naturally, people assumed they might pull the same move again with the remake.

The fresh Xbox listing did not mention any DLC at all, Born From a Wish or otherwise. That said, one of Bloober Team's lead writers, Grzegorz Like, previously tossed gasoline on the speculation fire with a cheeky reply to fans:

'Born from a what?'

Tease? Deflection? Both? For now, there is no official DLC to point to — just that eyebrow-raise of a comment and a very near release date.

What Bloober is doing next

Even without new DLC news, Bloober Team is not leaving Silent Hill behind. The studio recently said it is turning its attention to the first game in the series next, which is a fascinating choice considering how foundational (and weird) that original story is.

Bottom line: Silent Hill 2 Remake hits Xbox Series X|S on November 21, with a Deluxe Edition and a quirky Pyramid Head pizza box cosmetic in tow. No Born From a Wish mention yet — but keep an eye out, because this series has a habit of dropping surprises when you least expect them.
