MCU Leak Confirms Death of Another Founding Avenger in Doomsday

With Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, the stakes are officially going up. A new leak suggests Marvel is planning a major character death in the next big team-up — and this time, it's one of the originals.
According to Alex Perez at The Cosmic Circus, Marvel wants to kill off a founding Avenger in a "big, proper" way — the kind of exit that makes it clear Doctor Doom isn't messing around. Fans have been speculating for a while now, and all signs are pointing toward one very Asgardian goodbye.
Yep — Thor might be next.
Chris Hemsworth has been playing the God of Thunder since 2011, and lately, it's been feeling like a farewell tour. He's still standing after Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America all stepped away, but it looks like his time might be up in Doomsday.
Perez added that while Marvel wants to give Thor a real death scene, that doesn't mean he's gone forever:
"That does not automatically imply that Thor is gone for good. Let's not forget, there's still a place waiting for Thor at the end of it all."
So don't be shocked if the door stays open for a return — or a multiverse variant — or even a replacement like Beta Ray Bill picking up the hammer. Still, it sounds like this version of Thor may finally meet his end.
If true, it's a smart move. Killing off a top-tier hero raises the emotional stakes, clears room for the next generation, and gives Doctor Doom the kind of entrance a new MCU villain actually needs. After years of multiverse fluff, Marvel might finally be swinging for the fences again.
Just as long as it's not a quick cutaway death or a five-second fakeout. If Thor's going down, give him something worthy of Ragnarok.
