McBee Dynasty Shocker: Kristi Slams Steven in Divorce Reveal

As The McBee Dynasty returns for its second season on Bravo and Peacock, the real drama isn't just on the ranch — it's spilling into real life.
Kristi McBee, former wife of family patriarch Steven McBee Sr., has spoken out for the first time since their split. And she didn't hold back.
In a new interview tied to the show's airing, Kristi opened up about the collapse of her 28-year marriage — and what ultimately pushed her to file for divorce.
"Steve and I were married 28 years," she said. "Then I started finding out there was a lot of infidelity. So I filed for divorce."
While the breakup is significant on its own, Kristi says her bigger concern is the impact her ex-husband's behavior could have on their sons — all of whom play key roles in the family's cattle and ranching business, estimated to be worth millions.
"My biggest fear with the boys is that they will become like their father," she said. "I see what the boys are going through, and I can see them picking up some bad habits that their father has towards women. I want them to be good to their wives, girlfriends — to women in general."
In addition to the accusations of infidelity, Kristi also took aim at Steven's parenting — specifically how he's handled the relationships between their sons.
"Your dad kind of pitted you guys against each other and created a lot of jealousy," she told them. "You guys have to work together."
Despite the rocky history, Kristi says her priority now is making sure her sons break the cycle — and find a healthier way forward, both as brothers and as men.
Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty continues to follow the family's real-life ranching empire, centered on Steven Sr. and his sons as they navigate the pressures of family business, legacy, and now, a very public family rift.
