What Episode 4 is teeing up
By now, Scarlet El Vandimion, Julius, and Nanaka are neck-deep in palace rot and magical weirdness, with dragons lurking just out of frame. Scarlet is still handing out justice with her fists, but her crew is very much in the fray too.
We get more clues about Terenezza, the hooded redhead who has been popping up on the edges of the story with vibes that say 'helpful' and 'danger' at the same time. Episode 4 also starts clarifying how magic actually works here, which is helpful given how fast spells are starting to fly.
The tone stays nimble: Scarlet and Julius still do not fully get each other, which keeps the banter sharp and the misunderstandings funny. Nanaka continues to be the beastkin 'footman' who is obviously much more than the title suggests. If you liked the first three episodes, this is the one where all the threads begin to lock together and the show feels like it is properly kicking into gear — the fantasy, the intrigue, and the action stacking on top of each other in a satisfying way.
Expect bigger fights, bigger secrets, and yes, some flirty beats that never tip into melodrama. It is still very much giggles-and-punches territory, just scaled up. By the end, Scarlet, Julius, and Nanaka are digging deeper into the corruption, the magic mess, and those dragon teases, while we get the popcorn-ready 'did that just happen?' moments this series keeps delivering.
Short version: October 17. Crunchyroll or Prime Video. Subs or dubs. Corrupt nobles should probably call in sick.
