Masked Singer S10 Premiere Performances, Ranked From Worst to Best

Although The Masked Singer Season 10 opened on September 10th with a special episode featuring performances from the judges and special guests, the official season premiere only aired yesterday, September 27th. The new season began with five disguised celebrity acts, with one being immediately eliminated.

Here's our ranking of TMS Week 1 performances.

5. Rubber Ducky

This performer joined Fox's popular competition show with a cover of Dexys Midnight Runners' Come On Eileen. However, both the judges and the audience deemed this act the weakest of the episode. As a result, the contestant was eliminated and revealed to be Anthony Anderson.

4. Diver

Performing Any Way You Want It by Journey, this contestant made a strong first impression on the audience. However, it soon became apparent that Diver lacked the drive and zest to give this track justice. Still, their vocals were highly admired, so we might expect some great performances from them in the future.

3. Gazelle

Gazelle's performance made quite an impact, what with it being released two weeks before the season's official premiere. Energetic and electrifying, their powerful voice stunned both the panel and the audience, prompting furious speculation about who might be hiding behind this mask.

2. Cow

This contestant's spectacular cover of Imagine Dragons' Bones was one of the best acts of the first week of The Masked Singer's tenth season. More importantly, it was equally intriguing as both the judges and the audience struggled to determine whether the celebrity under the mask was male or female. That made Cow's performance even more memorable.

1. S'More

As challenging as it is to replicate Niall Horan's charm, this contestant managed to do so even while wearing a giant, slightly eerie mask. Their rendition of the singer's hit single Slow Hands won over the audience and the judges. It was heartfelt and tender, so we ranked it first on our list.

Hopefully, all these contestants will have ample opportunities to showcase their talents in future episodes of The Masked Singer Season 10. The next episode will be released on October 4th.
