Marvel Rivals Gives Daredevil a Cheeky Buff — His Actor Says It’s Meant to Distract Supports

Marvel Rivals is adding another superhero with... robust rear-end geometry. This time it is Matt Murdock himself. Daredevil drops into the game on October 10, and while the new trailer shows off his whole tool kit, the internet has decided his most powerful asset is behind him. Literally.

The trailer: super senses, grapples, and, uh, glutes

NetEase rolled out a new Daredevil trailer that leans into the character's superhuman senses. He can tag enemies through walls, then zip straight at them by grappling with his iconic nunchucks. Cool stuff. But once the third-person camera swings around, there is a very obvious elephant in the room, and Twitter did what Twitter does.

"what does a defense attorney need all that for"

That viral line came bundled with screenshots that, again, make it impossible not to notice the character model's, ahem, priorities.

The voice actor has a theory (kind of)

Daredevil's new voice actor Aleks Le is fully in on the joke. On October 1, 2025, he chimed in to explain why Murdock is so caked up:

"to distract the supports"

If you are not deep into hero-shooter roles, "supports" are the healers and utility folks. Mild logic hiccup, though: those players would only be distracted if they are looking at him from behind, which, in third-person, is mostly the player. Still funny.

Le also thanked Marvel Games for letting him pitch a few lines.

"Forgive me for what I'm about to do"

He says he has a long history with the character and never imagined he would get to voice Matt Murdock. Honestly, that enthusiasm comes through.

Yes, this fits the game's current vibe

Marvel Rivals has been leaning into thirsty fan-service for a while now. Venom has a viral twerking emote. Several skins riff on "classic comic designs" in ways fans have labeled... horny. At this point, nothing is distracting if everything is distracting.
