Malice Filming Locations Revealed: Inside the Real Places Behind the Prime Video Series
Prime Video’s Malice turns sun-drenched Greek islands and sleek London streets into a gilded nightmare where luxury breeds dread. Explore the real locations that shape the Tanners’ opulent yet perilously fragile world.
Prime Video's Malice is all sharp suits and sharper edges: a glossy, expensive world where every sun-soaked view has a shadow tucked in the corner. If you watched and thought, Wait, where did they actually shoot all this?, here is the tour, plus the basics of what the show is doing and what the odds are on a second season.
Where Malice was filmed
The production leaned hard on real locations, which is a big part of why the vibe feels so convincingly luxe and threatening. They spent 18 weeks rolling cameras, starting in London and wrapping on Paros in summer 2024 (via The Express). Here is the where and what of the key spots (via Time Out):
- Richmond Hill, London (UK) - The Tanner family's house, inside and out, was filmed here.
- The Carpenter's Arms, Chiswick (UK) - Adam meets Jules in episode 5.
- Shepherd Market, Mayfair (UK) - Exterior shots of Jamie Tanner's venture capital firm.
- Battersea Park, London (UK) - Nat and Jules grab a lunchtime coffee and talk in episode 4.
- Chiswick Draw Dock, London (UK) - Adam dumps evidence at the dock.
- Paros Residence, Paros Island (Greece) - The Tanners' Greek villa, a sleek eight-bedroom modernist compound.
- Kostos Village, Paros (Greece) - Wedding scenes in episode 2, centered on the church of Agios Panteleimonas.
- Aliki Harbour, Paros (Greece) - Family boat day in episode 1, including the very specific octopus shopping/bashing sequence. Yes, that happened.
So what is Malice actually about?
Created by James Wood, Malice tracks Adam Healey (Jack Whitehall), a disarmingly charming tutor who slips into the orbit of the very wealthy Tanner clan. Patriarch Jamie (David Duchovny) and his wife Nat (Carice van Houten) are vacationing on Paros when Adam turns up and quickly earns everyone's trust. He is not there by accident.
What starts as a sunny holiday invite turns into a slow-burn revenge game, and when the Tanners bring Adam back to their London townhouse, he starts playing the long con for real. The ensemble also includes Christine Adams, Raza Jaffrey, Harry Gilby, and more, all circling the Tanners' opulent but breakable bubble.
Season 2 status
Right now, there is no renewal. Malice launched as a six-episode psychological thriller and Amazon has not announced a second season. If the numbers hit, it could come back, and the ending leaves the door cracked.
Jack Whitehall hinted as much in an interview with CBR, talking about where Adam's head is at after the finale:
"That's definitely something that we really wanted to nail with that final beat, of him having executed his plan and done the thing that he thought would bring him peace and closure. But there's a brewing sense that he was still going to have this void, and it wasn't going to heal the wound at his core."
Translation: even when the plan lands, the guy does not feel fixed. If Amazon wants more, there is plenty to pick up after the fallout. For now, though, nothing is guaranteed.
