When Love is Blind first appeared on our screens, it was a gulp of fresh air.

The concept was new, and the characters were interesting and likable. The later seasons weren’t quite as popular. But the fourth season stirred controversy right away. The show’s fans didn’t understand some casting choices the producers had made.

Micah Lussier is the most disliked character on Love is Blind along with her screen bestie Irina Solomonova.

They both have long been given the title of the show’s “mean” girls. And Micah does appear mean, vicious, and willing to spite every other Love is Blind participant. No wonder fans don’t believe her when she tells everyone that she was sorry for her behavior on the show.

In a recent Instagram post, Micah Lussier addressed her behavior on the Love is Blind set. "I have apologized privately to the people that were hurt on the show by my hands," she wrote. "An emotional immaturity was shown and I will grow from it."

She then apologized to the show's fans: "To the viewers I've hurt. I'm sorry I've triggered so many of you with my behavior. Seeing that person on the screen would make me feel the same anger."

But it seems the Internet never forgets and never forgives. No one is buying Micah's message of being remorseful for her cruelty on the show.

“It seems like even with her apology, she’s been trying to post/share anything that defends her. We’ll have to see After the Alter for “ultimate” judgment of her character, but I almost feel like she’s trying to create a facade and not truly realize how she acted,” one Redditor wrote.

There are two things that can be said in Micah's defense. One is that Season 4 of Love is Blind was filmed almost a year ago and she may have changed for the better by now. The other is that Micah Lussier on screen and in real life may be two very different people.

Many fans say reality TV is often driven by drama and conflict and such characters as Micah bring plenty of it to the viewers.

Unfortunately, Micah’s apology won’t be appreciated by most people who aren’t even ready to listen to her. It is clear now why Lussier has closed the comment section on her social media.
