The actress' filmography should be the definition of the word range.

Elizabeth Olsen seems to be afraid of nothing: she chooses difficult roles, often plays in movies about death, quickly turns from a good and slightly old-fashioned girl into a cult member, a cold-blooded killer, and even the Scarlet Witch.

This is a list of different film incarnations of the youngest of the Olsen sisters, who has already surpassed the older twins in popularity.

1. Wind River, 2017

Taylor Sheridan's detective story is set in wintry Wyoming, where a murder has occurred and is being investigated by a visiting FBI agent (Elizabeth Olsen) and a local hunter.

In this story, the understanding between the characters is not immediate, and the dynamics of the relationship between two persons who are polar in their views and life experiences, working as a team, is one of the strengths of the movie, which already makes a deep impression.

2. Sorry for Your Loss, 2018-2019

The series tells the story of a young widow, Leigh, trying to survive the loss of her husband. Three months later, she is trying very hard to return to her normal life, to rebuild relationships with loved ones, and to figure out what happened to her family that seemed so perfect.

Leigh's sister and mother have many problems of their own, which are woven into the narrative as side stories, and the woman herself spends most of the time searching for answers in her memories and begins to communicate with her late husband's brother. This is where the story takes an unexpected turn.

3. Love & Death, 2023

The plot, based on real events, had already been filmed in the miniseries Candy, starring Jessica Biel, but it was Olsen's version of Mrs. Montgomery that became the reason to draw everyone's attention to the creepy story.

Bored middle-aged housewife Candy starts an affair with her friend's husband Alan and, it seems, opens Pandora's box in her own soul.

At the same time, the woman, who for many years has nurtured the image of the ideal Stepford wife, remains completely impenetrable in the face of death: the usual TV sociopaths seem understandable and predictable creatures against her background.

4. His Three Daughters, 2023

A striking drama by Azazel Jacobs about one family: three sisters try to get along in an old apartment and somehow help their dying father.

The three sisters on screen are so different from each other that even in simpler moments it was clearly difficult for them to find a common language, but now, due to age, conflicting views and difficult times, they do not understand each other at all.

Only Elizabeth Olsen's character proves to be a restraining element. But in the few days they spend together, a rare miracle happens: strangers become close.
