Weekend’s almost here, and LinkedIn Games are still more coffee break than brain-buster. If you haven’t jumped in, the platform’s daily puzzles are surprisingly addictive—I’ve tried most of them, and these are the ones worth your time.

Weekend incoming, and the LinkedIn Games still feel more coffee break than brain burn. If you have no idea what I am talking about, LinkedIn quietly runs a handful of daily puzzles that are shockingly solid time-killers. Heads-up if you are new: the site gives first-time players a tutorial board, not the real daily, so these answers will not match for you. For everyone else, here is the full rundown for October 2, 2025.

  • Queens (Oct 2, 2025, #520) — Another 8x8 today. Looks like that brief flirtation with 11x11 last week is not returning yet, which is a bit of a bummer. Still, a breezy, satisfying solve.

    Crowns land at: Row 1, Column 7; Row 2, Column 2; Row 3, Column 6; Row 4, Column 3; Row 5, Column 1; Row 6, Column 5; Row 7, Column 8; Row 8, Column 4.

  • Tango (Oct 2, 2025, #360) — Twelve pre-filled squares today, which is kind of wild and, yeah, makes it pretty easy. I miss when Tango pushed back a little more.

Row 1: Sun, Moon, Moon, Sun, Sun, Moon.
Row 2: Sun, Moon, Moon, Sun, Moon, Sun.
Row 3: Moon, Sun, Sun, Moon, Sun, Moon.
Row 4: Moon, Sun, Sun, Moon.
    Row 5: Sun, Sun.
    Row 6: Fully filled.

  • Mini Sudoku (Oct 2, 2025, #52) — The difficulty needle on this one rarely moves, and today stays on-brand.

    Row 1: 5, 4, 6, 1, 2, 3
    Row 2: 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6
    Row 3: 4, 6, 5, 2, 3, 1
    Row 4: 2, 1, 3, 5, 6, 4
    Row 5: 6, 5, 4, 3, 1, 2
    Row 6: 1, 3, 2, 6, 4, 5

  • Zip (Oct 2, 2025, #199) — Nice balance today: not a gimme, not a grind. Here is the route, step by step, so you do not overshoot any numbered points:

Start by going up once to hit 2, right once, up twice to reach 3, then right three times, passing 4 and landing on 5. Go up once, then sweep left to the edge through 6 and 7, drop down once, right once to 8. From there: down once, left once, then straight down to the edge through 9 and 10. Next, right twice, up once, right once to 11, up twice, right twice through 12 and onto 13. Go down once, left once, down once to 14. Finish by going right once, down once, then left twice through 15 and into 16.

  • Pinpoint (Oct 2, 2025, #520) — Clean theme, very gettable once the right word pops into your head. Hints in order: Top, Bucket, Beret, Cowboy, Fedora. The answer: Kinds of hats. If Beret does not tip you off, Fedora absolutely will.

  • Crossclimb (Oct 2, 2025, #520) — One of those ladder builds where the reordering is the sneaky part. The clue that anchors it:

    "Stands the ___ of time"

Answers you need: TEST; TONS (as in the 'long' or 'short' shipping kind); SONS (male offspring); TENT (traveling circus setup); TENS (what perfect diving scores are). Before you can finish, arrange the first five like this: TEST, TENT, TENS, TONS, SONS. With that in place, the final two words drop in: BEST and SONG.

That is the lot for October 2. Another light lift overall. If LinkedIn suddenly cranks the difficulty back up, I will not complain.
