Netflix’s annual end-of-year purge is here: a wave of fan favorites is set to vanish from the US, UK, and global libraries. Licensing shake-ups are to blame—start your last-chance binge before they disappear.

Year-end on Netflix means the usual rights shuffle: a bunch of familiar shows cycle off right as the calendar flips. Based on listings tracked by What's on Netflix, there is a sizable wave of removals coming to the US, the UK, and multiple regions worldwide between late December 2025 and the first days of 2026. Some of these are big: 'Friends' and 'The Big Bang Theory' exit in the UK, while the US loses 'Lost' and 'Mr. Robot' right after the ball drops. Globally, several Cartoon Network/DC staples are on the way out too. If any of these are on your watchlist, do not procrastinate.

A couple of housekeeping notes

No new streaming homes have been announced yet for these titles. Some will likely surface elsewhere; some could be in limbo awhile. Also, removal timing is famously fussy: dates can shift based on last-minute licensing tweaks, and time zones can make something look like it leaves on December 31 for some viewers and January 1 for others. Netflix can also extend titles or pull them a bit earlier, and availability varies by country even when the date looks the same.

Bottom line: if you have been meaning to watch or rewatch any of the above, now is the time to hit play.
