Taylor Sheridan’s Landman is back drilling deeper into power, legacy, and oilfield intrigue. After the Nov. 16, 2025 Paramount+ premiere Death and a Sunset, episode 2 Sins of the Father arrives soon, with Tommy Norris in the president’s chair and the season 1 cliffhanger still reverberating.
Landman is back in the oil patch and not getting any calmer. Season 2 kicked off with 'Death and a Sunset' and now episode 2, 'Sins of the Father', is about to stir the pot even more. Where we left things
Season 2 picks up right off season 1's cliffhanger and wastes no time rearranging the power map. After Monty Miller's death, Tommy Norris slides into the president chair at M-Tex Oil, sharing control with Monty's widow Cami Miller (yes, that's Demi Moore). The premiere made it clear Tommy is not fully settled into the big chair yet, especially with his wife Angela lobbying hard for the kind of life that comes with the title. Meanwhile, Cami steps into majority-stakeholder mode and puts bankers and investors on notice with a fiery, wake-the-room speech that actually wins them over. File that under: not subtle, but effective.

'Sins of the Father' lands Sunday, November 23, 2025 on Paramount+. The show is rolling out weekly on Sundays through January 18, 2026, for a 10-episode season.

What to expect in 'Sins of the Father'
Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) is still trying to lead without letting his personal life capsize the boat. Cami, newly emboldened and very public as M-Tex's power player, is likely to find out just how much resistance there is once the applause dies down and the banks start reading the fine print.
There is also the matter of Cooper and his sudden windfall, which still smells off to anyone paying attention. The episode title isn't exactly subtle either: expect Tommy's father, T.L. Norris, to loom large and complicate an already messy family-business blend.

That official synopsis lays it out: Cami is about to get hit from an angle she did not see coming, and Tommy is playing triage while telling Cooper to stop poking the bear with whatever deal he made to get rich quick.
