Kelsey Grammer Teases Beast’s Big MCU Comeback, Calls It a Career-Defining Opportunity

Kelsey Grammer is suiting up as Beast again for Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday, and he sounds genuinely thrilled about it. The timing lines up with the 20th anniversary of X-Men: The Last Stand in 2026, which is a wild sentence to write out loud.

What Grammer said about coming back as Beast

Grammer talked to ComingSoon and made it clear this was not a paycheck cameo. He loves Hank McCoy. He sees Beast as a steady moral compass, a slow-to-act scientist who, once he commits, does not back down. He also believes fans will like what they are doing with the character and, yes, he wants to play him again after this.

"Yeah, it was the secret, quiet passion in my mind to come back to Beast because I love the character... To me, he is the Martin Luther King of the mutant community... I love playing him... Honestly, to me, he is one of the great opportunities in my life."

That is a big comparison, obviously, but it tracks with how Beast has often been written: a principled bridge-builder who leads with brains and integrity.
