Details about the plot are still being kept under wraps, but we do know a few things. The action will unfold seven years after the end of the previous film titled Dominion. At the same time, Rebirth will not be a direct sequel, but a soft reboot of the entire series.

The environment of modern Earth proved unsuitable for the life of the ancient lizards, most of whom could not adapt to the unfamiliar conditions. The surviving dinosaurs settled in small populations in the region of the tropical climate most suitable for the animals that once ruled the planet.

Zora Bennett, assisted by a man named Duncan Kincaid, brings paleontologist Henry Loomis into the territory of one of the reptile enclaves.

The goal of the secret operation is the DNA material of three of the largest dinosaur species living in different environments, which is necessary for the creation of a drug. The resulting medicine should save the lives of many people.

But the risks for the travelers are incredibly high, as the island they arrive on turns out to be a former laboratory for breeding lizards for Jurassic Park.

Viewers will encounter not only ancient reptile species that have appeared in the series, such as Tyrannosaurus and Mosasaurus, but also hybrids and mutants that have also been bred on the island.

Who Will Star in Jurassic World Rebirth?

The events of Rebirth will revolve around characters new to the series, so don't expect the main roles to be played by already familiar actors.

Zora is played by Scarlett Johansson, who needs no introduction. Duncan is portrayed by two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. And the role of paleontologist Dr. Henry went to Jonathan Bailey, the star of Bridgerton who recently starred in Wicked.
