Jujutsu Kaisen storms back in January 2026, with fan favorites poised to return, new sorcerers entering the fray, and fresh voice talent ready to reshape the battlefield. The hype is surging—season 3 is set to hit harder than ever.

Jujutsu Kaisen is back on the board for January 2026. Yes, that feels far away. The good news: Season 3 is coming in both subbed and dubbed versions, so the Japanese and English casts are getting a workout. If you are trying to keep tabs on who is returning, who is new, and what everyone is doing in the Culling Game, here is the clean rundown.

When and where

Season 3 is slated for January 2026. In the meantime, Jujutsu Kaisen is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

What Season 3 is tackling

This stretch covers the Culling Game, which throws sorcerers into deadly colonies and forces some... creative team-ups. Gojo remains sealed, which keeps the whole world off balance. Expect big moves from Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, and a few very motivated enemies.

Cast and who they play in Season 3

  • Yuji Itadori — Japanese VA: Junya Enoki (My Hero Academia, Fire Force); English VA: Adam McArthur (Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Shadowverse). Yuji enters the Culling Game and heads into hostile colonies. Before that even kicks off, he has to deal with Yuta Okkotsu, who has been officially tasked with hunting him down.
  • Yuta Okkotsu — Japanese VA: Megumi Ogata (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yu Yu Hakusho); English VA: Kayleigh McKee (Hunter x Hunter, BNA: Brand New Animal). Both reprised Yuta in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and are back here. Yuta comes in as one of the strongest sorcerers, positioned as an anti-hero who is hunting Yuji, Sukuna's vessel. As the arc unfolds, his real goals come into focus.
  • Megumi Fushiguro — Japanese VA: Yuma Uchida (Fruits Basket, Banished From the Hero's Party); English VA: Robbie Daymond (Naruto, Sailor Moon, Persona 5). Megumi is at the center of major decisions that steer the Culling Game. Sukuna has him in his sights, and we finally see why that matters.
  • Maki Zenin — Japanese VA: Mikako Komatsu (Land of the Lustrous, Dr. Stone); English VA: Allegra Clark (Apex Legends, Monster Hunter Rise, Fate/Apocrypha). After everything in Season 2, Maki enters the Culling Game and goes through her biggest transformation yet. Expect her to be one of the season's heaviest hitters.
  • Toge Inumaki — Japanese VA: Kōki Uchiyama (Tokyo Ghoul, Haikyuu!!, Horimiya); English VA: Xander Mobus (Persona 5, One Punch Man, Sailor Moon). Toge is still dealing with injuries from the Shibuya Incident, so his activity is limited. He should appear and support the others while he recovers.
  • Panda — Japanese VA: Tomokazu Seki (Gurren Lagann, Fate/Stay Night, My Hero Academia); English VA: Matthew David Rudd (Kuroko's Basketball, Baki, Beastars). Not the focal point of the arc, but Panda still jumps in for combat and support inside the colonies.
  • Satoru Gojo — Japanese VA: Yūichi Nakamura (Fairy Tail, Clannad, My Hero Academia); English VA: Kaiji Tang (Demon Slayer, Genshin Impact, Kill la Kill). Gojo stays sealed in the Prison Realm. His absence keeps everything unstable, and plenty of sorcerers are trying to bring him back because, well, he changes the math.
  • Shoko Ieiri — Japanese VA: Aya Endō (Fairy Tail, Gintama, Hellsing); English VA: Ryan Bartley (Re:Zero, Mob Psycho 100, The Promised Neverland). Shoko continues to be the series' medical backbone, treating the spike in injuries from the colonies and nonstop fights.
  • Tengen — Japanese VA: Yoshiko Sakakibara (Ghost in the Shell, Hellsing Ultimate, Cowboy Bebop); English VA: TBA. Tengen breaks down how the Culling Game works and why the colonies behave the way they do. Not a fighter, but their body and barriers are the backbone of the ritual itself.
  • Naoya Zenin — Japanese VA: Kōji Yusa (Bleach, D.Gray-man, Sengoku Basara); English VA: Alan Lee (One Punch Man, Fire Emblem Heroes, Fate/Grand Order). Naoya enters the Culling Game on a revenge bender aimed squarely at Maki, trying to reassert his superiority. He is exactly as dangerous as that sounds.
  • Yuki Tsukumo — Japanese VA: Noriko Hidaka (Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, One Piece); English VA: Anjali Kunapaneni (Pokemon, Dragon Ball Super, Smile Precure!). Yuki steps further into the fight around Kenjaku and the Culling Game, sharing key insight on curses and joining pivotal clashes.
  • Choso — Japanese VA: Daisuke Namikawa (Durarara!!, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist); English VA: Ray Chase (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Final Fantasy XV, One Punch Man). Choso continues backing Yuji inside the Culling Game. His loyalty and blood techniques turn into real difference-makers in the colonies.
  • Kenjaku — Japanese VA: Takahiro Sakurai (Code Geass, Psycho-Pass, Naruto); English VA: Lex Lang (Bleach, One Punch Man, Sailor Moon). The main antagonist of this arc, Kenjaku pushes the Culling Game forward and keeps putting up roadblocks for every major player.

What is still under wraps

A few roles for the English dub have not been announced yet, including Tengen's English voice actor. Expect more names as we get closer to January 2026.

Who are you most excited to see return in Season 3? Yuji and Yuta squaring off is going to be a lot.
