If you play Roblox's Grow a Garden, Saturdays get weird in the best possible way. The devs literally flip switches server-wide and turn the game into a limited-time free-for-all. It is called Admin Abuse, it is intentional, and yes, that is why the servers are slammed every weekend.

So what is Admin Abuse, exactly?

Once a week, the Grow a Garden team jumps into live servers and uses their admin tools to bend the rules. You might see the game's owner Jandel or head developer DJ Jhai pop in and start tinkering with the environment. Think unusual weather rolling in, shops suddenly packed with rare stock, and the whole economy skewing in your favor for a short window. It is a single, server-wide session every Saturday, and it only happens once per week.

How to actually benefit from it

If you want in (and you do), log on at least an hour before the start time. Servers fill up fast on Saturdays, and getting stuck outside the chaos is a bad time. Once the event kicks off, the admins usually crank up odd weather that boosts your odds of landing rare mutations. That is where the money is: those mutations turn into pricier crop variants you can sell for way more than usual.

Here is the inside baseball part: the team also restocks regular shops with the rarest seeds during Admin Abuse. Not limited-time event stalls, not pop-ups — the normal shops. Pet Shops get the same treatment with rarer eggs, so you can pull a companion with stronger traits while you are at it. And because the devs are in the mix, they tend to chat globally.
