What Episode 9 is actually about

Carmela finally stops holding Leandro at arm's length after she uncovers what really went down with Carmelita. That clears one obstacle, but the heart wants what it wants, and a grand celebration throws her back into Juanito's orbit. Their Carinosa dance stirs up everything she has been trying to bury.

Then comes the slip: Juanito calls her by her real name in public, and Carmela's cover almost blows. Meanwhile, she learns Don Alejandro was not the villain behind Trinidad's family tragedy, which flips a big chunk of her understanding of the past.

Emotions peak with a tender moment that leads to an unexpected kiss between Carmela and Juanito. Cute, until everyone ends up on a surprise triple date that includes Leandro, Helena, Sonya, and Ignacio. Jealousy shows up right on cue, because of course it does.
