Summer is set to start with a bang. June will see the digital release of many of the year's most highly anticipated films, including Ryan Coogler's Sinners.
1. The Surfer, 2025

After spending several years in the US, the unnamed protagonist returns to his hometown in Australia. He is going through a divorce and wants to reconnect with his teenage son. He hopes that moving and buying a new house will improve his life.
One day, he goes surfing with his son. On the shore, however, they encounter a group of locals who forbid them from using the beach. A tense standoff ensues.
2. Sinners, 2025
Release Date: June 3, 2025
In 1932, Smoke and Stack returned to their hometown after a long absence. They first fought in World War I and then became involved in the criminal underworld. The brothers hoped to start a new life in familiar surroundings.
After buying some land, they opened a music bar where Sammie, the preacher's son, began performing. Soon, the young man's music lures an Irish vampire to the club.
3. Friendship, 2024

Craig is a shy marketer who leads a quiet life in the suburbs with his wife and son. One day, an eccentric weather forecaster named Austin moves in next door and immediately charms Craig. Craig becomes obsessed with the desire to be friends with him.
4. Final Destination Bloodlines, 2025
Release Date: June 17, 2025
The horror film franchise Final Destination was released from 2000 to 2011. The sixth film, Bloodlines, was released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the premiere of the first film.
Nostalgia played a role: The new film earned $102 million in its opening weekend, the best result in the franchise's history.
The plot revolves around college student Stefani. She is tormented by visions of her family's impending tragedy. In an attempt to save her loved ones, she returns home. There, she looks for someone who can prevent a series of deaths.
5. Hurry Up Tomorrow, 2025

The plot follows a musician who suffers from chronic insomnia. A meeting with a mysterious stranger, however, radically changes his fate.
The film received negative reviews from the press. Critics praised Jenna Ortega's performance but noted the extremely weak script. Apparently, the film is more reminiscent of a music video than a movie. Nevertheless, fans of The Weeknd should form their own opinion.
