Hot off the Season 5 finale The House Always, Hulu has renewed Only Murders in the Building for Season 6, as the latest chapter nabs a Certified Fresh seal.

Well, that did not take long. Hulu has renewed Only Murders in the Building for Season 6 right on the heels of dropping the Season 5 finale, and yes, the new season is already packing a big swing.

Season 6 is a go (and it is leaving New York again)

Per THR, Season 6 will run 10 episodes. After reports started circulating, it is now official: the next case takes the trio to London. That is the second time the show has jumped coasts/countries after Season 4 shipped them to Los Angeles for a movie deal based on their podcast. For a series so tied to the Arconia, that is a notable shift.

Where Season 5 left things

The Season 5 finale, titled 'The House Always,' is streaming now. This season revolved around the sudden death of the Arconia's longtime doorman, Lester, which pulled Charles, Oliver, and Mabel into another mess of secrets and suspects. The run landed well with critics again: it is Certified Fresh at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not a shocker, but still impressive five seasons in.

Who is making it (and who showed up this past season)

Only Murders in the Building comes from co-creators and co-writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). The core trio remains Selena Gomez as Mabel, Martin Short as Oliver, and Steve Martin as Charles.

Behind the scenes, the executive producers are Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, and JJ Philbin.
