Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight uncorks House of Guinness, a sweeping historical saga about the family behind the brewing empire—here’s when Episodes 1–8 drop, what time to tune in, and where to watch.

Steven Knight is back in the period-drama trenches, and this time he is aiming straight at a beer dynasty. Netflix is dropping House of Guinness, a 19th-century family saga about the people behind the pint. Here is the when, where, and what of it, with zero fluff.

All eight episodes of Season 1 hit at once. Binge away.

What it is

Created by Steven Knight (yep, the Peaky Blinders guy), House of Guinness tracks the Guinness family in the late 1800s, bouncing between Ireland and New York. The setup is classic Knight: a powerful patriarch dies, and the heirs have to navigate ambition, secrets, and a massive business with their last name on it.

'Dublin, 1868. The Guinness family patriarch is dead, and his four children — each with dark secrets to hide — hold the brewery's fate in their hands.'

The show centers on the four siblings — Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben — trying to figure out what happens to the brewery after their father, Benjamin Guinness, is gone. It is very much a 'legacy with strings attached' story, with the era and settings doing a lot of heavy lifting (expect backrooms in Dublin and big moves in New York).

Who is in it

The cast includes Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O'Shea, David Wilmot, and more. Between Knight's track record and this lineup, the 'family empire under pressure' lane looks alive and well.
