HBO Max Just Dropped a Fan-Favorite DC Series' New Season
A fan-favorite DC series drops its latest season on HBO Max today, joining a stacked roster that spans Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond, and fresh DCU hits like Superman and Peacemaker Season 2.
If your weekend needs loud, candy-colored superhero chaos, Max just dropped a fresh chunk of Teen Titans Go!. Yes, more waffles, more yelling, more Robin leadership meltdowns.
What just hit Max
Teen Titans Go! Season 9F is now streaming on Max (the app formerly known as HBO Max). This batch includes four new episodes from the show’s ongoing ninth season.
And because the labeling is funky: that '9F' is just the latest slice of Season 9. One outlet even called it a second season, which it absolutely isn’t. Blame the alphabet soup season naming, not your eyes.
- Quick refresher: Teen Titans Go! premiered in 2013 as the gag-forward spinoff of the original Teen Titans from Warner Bros. Animation. It brings back Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg, voiced by Scott Menville, Hynden Walch, Tara Strong, Greg Cipes, and Khary Payton.
- The tone is pure downtime shenanigans between world-saving: think laundry done with superpowers, Driver’s Ed after someone totals the Batmobile on a joyride to impress a crush, and pranks that get turbo-charged when you can shapeshift into any animal or pop off a robotic limb.
- It’s the longest-running DC animated series, period.
- What’s next: the show was renewed for a tenth season back in June, but there’s no premiere date yet.
If you’re already on Max for DC stuff, this sits alongside the usual heavy hitters like Justice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond, plus the newer DCU projects rolling through the service, including Superman and Peacemaker Season 2.
