Gwyneth Paltrow just did the Marvel no-comment dance on live TV, and honestly, it was pretty funny. The setup: Good Morning America asked her point-blank about Avengers: Doomsday, and she responded like she had never heard of it. Perfectly on-brand Marvel coyness.

During an interview on ABC's Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos tried to get Paltrow to confirm whether she is returning to the MCU after Avengers: Endgame. With Marvel's next Avengers movie slated for December 2026 and a first look said to be around the corner, everyone is probing for any sign of who is in and who is out.

Paltrow smiled and swerved the question with a wink.

'Avengers: Doomsday? What's that? I don't know... I'm not sure I've heard of that one.'

Co-anchor Robin Roberts called out the move with a knowing aside about how Marvel folks always play this game, and Stephanopoulos basically admitted they have to ask even though they know the answer will be evasive. Translation: this is the script everyone follows until Disney says otherwise.
