So what is Good Boy actually about?
The movie puts us in Indy the dog’s head as his owner starts getting stalked by something not-great. The trailer sets it up like everything in the house is fine... until Indy senses there is something nasty hanging around his human. From there, it becomes about how the dog clocks the threat and tries to protect. It’s a simple hook with a very odd perspective, and I’m genuinely curious to see if the gimmick sings or crashes.
