General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Corners [Spoiler] With a Ruthless Ultimatum — Dec. 4 Recap
In the Dec. 4 General Hospital, fallout hits fast: Emma and Gio return after rescuing the dogs from Dalton’s secret lab, Curtis finally comes clean to Jordan, and Sidwell moves in with a blackmail play that threatens to upend everything.
General Hospital went full chaos mode on December 4. We got a feel-good dog rescue that immediately turned into a legal mess, a confession that could blow up a family, and a grimy bit of blackmail that aims straight at Laura. In other words: just another day in Port Charles.
The dog rescue nobody asked for
Gio and Emma showed up at Sonny's place out of the blue with a pack of dogs they claim they saved from Dalton's secret lab. Not exactly a stealth operation. Ric is the first wet blanket in the room, pointing out that the stunt could make Rocco and everyone present accomplices.
Dante walks in, figures out what happened in two seconds, and lights into Gio for putting Rocco at risk again. Sonny steps between them and shifts Dante out of cop mode.
'Think like a father, not a cop.'
Later, Sonny assures Dante this is a victimless crime and, if they play it right, they might skate. That leads to a little bargaining: Rocco agrees to head home with Dante if Dante lets Gio and Emma off the hook this time. Dante takes the deal, and he and Rocco exit.
Davis family check-in
Over at the Davis house, Alexis explains to Kristina and Molly why she skipped Thanksgiving: she had to attend Willow and Drew's wedding. She’s happy Scout spent the night with them, at least. Then Molly gets a text from Cody asking her to meet at the bar. Alexis and Kristina nudge her to go.
Curtis finally says the quiet part out loud
Curtis comes clean to Jordan about the night Drew was shot. He admits he was with Selina Wu and, yes, he initially wanted her to kill Drew. He eventually pulled the plug, realizing putting a hit on someone would put his whole family in danger. Not exactly a minor oops.
The Brown Dog bar turns messy
At The Brown Dog, Jason runs into Spinelli, who just got back from checking on Maxine and is spiraling about losing her. (Yes, the recap says Maxine.)
Meanwhile, Britt gets drunk, zeroes in on Cody, drags him to dance, and kisses him. Terrible timing: Molly arrives right as that happens, clocks the scene, and bails. Cody pushes Britt away, but the damage is done. Jason offers to get Britt home, and she pivots to flirting with him instead. Because of course she does.
Laura vs. Sidwell
Sidwell corners Laura with a nasty ultimatum. He has secret photos from when she found Dalton stuffed in her trunk and threatens to spin them into a story about her killing to protect her grandson. His demand: she works for him. Laura pushes back, but he keeps pressing and names Ezra as the middleman. It’s ugly, calculated, and exactly the kind of move that tends to blow up in this town.
