General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Shooting Evidence Takes a Dramatic Turn Today

Port Charles erupts today as Portia’s leverage vanishes, the gun tied to Drew’s shooting disappears, and a cleared-up mix-up at Sonny’s gym ends with Gio kissing Emma — here are the October 8 spoilers and recap.
Today on General Hospital, we got a little of everything: romance course-corrected, blackmail losing its bite, and a key piece of evidence pulling a Houdini. Here is what went down on the October 8, 2025 episode. Yes, spoilers ahead.
Gio and Emma stop second-guessing and just kiss already
At Sonny's gym, Gio drops the news that he is moving out and in with Sonny, which rattles Emma, especially after their recent kiss. Trina interrupts before either can say much. Later, Emma and Gio finally talk it out, admit the feelings are mutual, and seal it with another kiss. Balance restored.
Britt tries to shake down Joss, Jack shuts it down
At the hospital, Britt threatens to out Joss as a WSB agent unless she gets a room at the Metro Court. Jack shows up mid-shakedown and Britt backs off. Afterward, Jack warns her that tangling with the Five Poppies mess could cross international law lines and offers her one way to avoid prison: keep quiet. He then hands Joss a fresh undercover assignment. Later, Carly finds Joss in tears and learns the real kicker: Joss's boyfriend, Vaughn, was a WSB agent the whole time.
Portia and Curtis call Drew's bluff
Portia is hiding a positive pregnancy test when Curtis walks in. Awkward timing. Curtis lays out his theory: Drew has lost the blackmail material he used to keep them in line. They confront Drew at the hospital, and he tries to act like he can still blow up Portia's career. She tells him to go ahead. Once they are out of his room, Curtis decides Drew is out of ammo and tells Portia she can file for divorce.
Carly checks Liz, maybe snoops, then bolts
Carly visits Liz to see if she told the cops about overhearing Carly threaten Drew. Liz says the police have not contacted her, which suggests they have another suspect. Liz immediately guesses that means Michael. Carly denies it. Liz asks Carly to trust Anna's investigation. A plumber calls Liz away for a minute; while she is gone, Carly quietly relocates from the kitchen to the couch. Liz returns, and Carly exits fast. Make of that what you will.
At the Quartermaines: a bad warrant, a missing gun, and family drama
Anna and Chase show up at the Quartermaine house with a search warrant, but Ronnie points out the address is wrong. Anna pulls back and promises to return with the right paperwork. In the meantime, Jason thanks Ronnie for the heads-up and tells her she is family now, despite Tracy protesting from the sidelines.
When Anna and Chase return with the corrected warrant, Edward's gun is gone. That is the same gun suspected in Drew's shooting. Anna cannot shake the thought that Jason may have destroyed it to protect Michael.
Drew plays strategist from his hospital bed
Martin tells Drew that the blackmail evidence from Drew's safe has vanished. Drew decides the shooter must have taken it, which in his mind narrows the field to Curtis or Portia. He instructs Martin not to involve the police. Instead, Drew wants Michael to take the blame for the shooting to lock down Willow's custody of the kids. Cold plan, but that is where his head is.
