General Hospital fans have had it with Chase, blasting his relentless fixation on Willow as a buzzkill for recent episodes and flooding Facebook threads with pleas for the storyline to move on.

General Hospital fans have been side-eyeing Chase lately, and honestly, I get it. The guy has zeroed back in on Willow, and the vibe online is basically: please stop.

What set this off

Yes, Chase and Willow have history. For a while it looked like both of them had moved on, especially with Chase in a steady thing with Brook Lynn. But recent episodes have him spinning the block. After Willow was accused of having something to do with Drew getting shot, Chase rushed in to defend her. Not just professionally, not just politely — he went all-in, in a very personal way.

That protectiveness has turned into a full-on fixation, and it is not subtle. Meanwhile, he seems to be tuning out everything else, including Brook Lynn, which is... not great optics.

The fan temperature check

Over on the Facebook group General Hospital Fans - Official, the comment section lit up about it. One post basically captured the mood:

"Never thought I would say this, but Chase is getting on my nerves."

From there, replies piled up. Fans are not loving the current version of Chase or how the writers are steering him. Some are frustrated that being a 'good guy' on this show feels like a fast track to getting sidelined. Others are worried he is keeping his Willow help under wraps and not being straight with Brook Lynn — which they call deceitful if he stays quiet. And a few are just having fun with it, joking that Willow must have cast a Halloween spell on him, because how else do you explain this level of tunnel vision?

Why it matters

Chase has clearly fallen out of favor with a chunk of the audience, and if he keeps prioritizing Willow over everything else, that heat is only going to rise. We will see whether the upcoming episodes cool this down or lean into it, but for now, the patience meter is low.
