General Hospital fans are over Nina Reeves. After weeks of flip-flopping alliances and chaos-stirring moves, viewers are flooding social media with backlash and saying they’ve had enough.

General Hospital did not set out to make Nina Reeves the cackling villain of Port Charles, but based on the last few weeks, viewers are over her. Between the flip-flopping alliances and a streak of shady choices, the patience level is low.

Where Nina has been stirring the pot

  • Ever since the Drew shooting arc kicked off, Nina has been laser-focused on proving her daughter Willow is innocent.
  • She also tried to turn her grandkids against Michael, ambushing him at the Metro Court while he was having dinner with Jacinda. Subtle? Not really.
  • Earlier this week, she pressed Jack to make the PCPD's evidence against Willow disappear. Yes, really.
  • In the December 17 episode, she made a hush-hush call asking someone to urgently handle a task for her.
  • Carly confronted her about it, and Nina got defensive, claiming she was just asking a friend to put out positive press for Willow.

Fans are done

All of that has sent the comment sections into a tailspin. Over on the show's Facebook page, one post blew up fast:

"I'm done with Nina. I hope whatever she's up to backfires right in her face."

From there, the replies piled up. The recurring themes: people are sick of Nina, Drew, and Willow in general right now; the storyline feels dragged out; and characters keep having sensitive conversations in the Q's kitchen like no one could possibly be listening. One theory getting traction: Nina is scheming against Michael with Jack Brennan. The popular prediction if Carly and Sonny find out about that alliance? It will not end well for either Nina or Brennan. Plenty of fans skipped the details and simply chimed in with "I agree," and at least one person flat-out said the Nina/Drew/Willow arc needs to end.

What the show still hasn't answered

Who did Nina call? Is Willow going to walk after all this? And most importantly: who actually shot Drew? The show has not given a definitive answer on the shooter yet, so for now we wait. General Hospital airs on ABC, and if this track record holds, whatever Nina is up to is going to collide with Michael, Carly, and Sonny sooner rather than later.
