Full House Icon Joins The Hunting Wives Season 2
Netflix is doubling down on The Hunting Wives Season 2, enlisting Full House favorite John Stamos among fresh cast additions as the hit thriller gears up for an even darker turn.
Netflix is loading up The Hunting Wives Season 2 with more chaos and a very familiar face. Yes, that John Stamos. The show was already a glossy murder-and-secrets thrill ride in Season 1; now the streamer is clearly pushing it darker and messier.
Cast shake-up: who is in the mix
- John Stamos (Full House, Fuller House) signs on as Chase Brylan.
- Dale Dickey joins as Zelda Moffitt.
- Cam Gigandet is playing Gentle John Moffitt.
- Also newly added: Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan.
- Returning from Season 1: Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman lead the cast, with Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, and Evan Jonigkeit back as well.
Character descriptions for the new additions are under wraps for now, but the timing and tone make it pretty clear these folks are being brought in to stir the pot.
What Season 2 is teasing
The new season kicks off with Sophie (Brittany Snow) and Margo (Malin Akerman) on the outs. Soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As their games get more dangerous, the big question becomes: are they the hunters or the hunted?
Season 1 ended with multiple bodies and friendships in shambles, so expect the Maple Brook power plays to escalate. Stamos, Dickey, and Gigandet feel perfectly positioned to be at the center of whatever fresh trouble blows in, but Netflix isn’t revealing full plot specifics yet.
Why Stamos here makes sense
He will always be Uncle Jesse to a lot of people, but Stamos has been quietly building a darker resume lately, most notably playing the manipulative Dr. Nicky on Netflix’s You. Dropping him into a slick, soapy thriller like this feels like savvy casting. If Season 2 is promising more bite, he’s a good way to sharpen the teeth.
