With the world of music at their feet, the members of BLACKPINK are now conquering the movie industry.

Although it comes from a small country in the Korean peninsula, K-pop has spread all over the world. As a result, many people worldwide are fans of the musical genre. Fortunately, there's a lot to fall for as hundreds of new K-pop artists debut every year, producing a ton of musical releases.

However, only a few K-pop collectives boast universal popularity. Just as BTS is the most famous Korean boy band, BLACKPINK is the most well-known female music group. It's not surprising that its members are popular outside of the music industry, as many have made forays into acting.

Since BLACKPINK's debut in 2016, its lead member, Jisoo, has had a number of acting roles. Here are four of her most memorable acting performances.

4. Cameo on The Producers

This 2015 comedy-drama, which revolves around the staff of a Korean network, is reminiscent of 30 Rock. Unlike the NBC show, it only aired for one season. BLACKPINK's Jisoo made a brief cameo appearance on the show, which marked the beginning of her career.

3. Sae Narae on Arthdal Chronicles

This Game of Thrones-like drama series is set in the fictional world of Arth, which is torn apart by constant wars waged by violent, greedy rulers. While some characters vie for power, others try to live and love in this world.

On the show, Jisoo portrayed Sae Narae, the protagonist's love interest who was killed before they could elope.

2. Eun Youngro on Snowdrop

Set in 1987, this historical drama follows the events following the June 1987 Democratic Movement that ended dictatorship in South Korea. The show stars Jisoo as Eun Youngro, an English student at Hosu Women's University who falls in love with Lim Sooho, a North Korean spy.

1. Korean Fairy in Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman

Released yesterday, this triller revolves around Dr. Cheon, a fake exorcist who still manages to solve serious crimes with his knowledge of ghosts. However, the new case he's assigned to proves to be more challenging.

The movie features Jisoo as a traditional Korean fairy dressed in gorgeous attire. This is her most beautiful role to date.
